Android is a software bunch for mobile devices that incluses an oprating system, middleware and key
apps. Google purchased the initial developae of the software from the AndroidInc., in 2005. Android's
mobile operating system is based on the Linux Kerna. Google and other members of the OHA(Open Handset
Alliance) cooperate with Android's development and release. The AOSP(Android Open Source Project) is
tasked with the maintenance and future development of Android. The Android oprating system is the
world's best selling platform of the smart phone.




Android has a large community of the developers writing apps and that extend the functions of the
devices. Android Market is the online app store runed by the Google, through apps can also be
downloaded from third-party-sites.Developers primarily use Java language.

Vanilla: Vanilla Android is referred to as "the Google experience" it has no coustom skin, and is 

running An Android straight from Google. It has a simple approach, and generally get's Android 

updates faster, because the OEM doesn't have to modify the version of the Android to fit their custom 

skin.

MotoBlur: MotoBlur, as the name hints, is a custom Android interface by Motorola. It is geared toward 

those that use social networking to the max. Much like stock Android , it features five home-screens. 

I have to tell you, if you are not into social networking, do not fer a phone with this UI. Because 

ihat is what moto blur focuses on.
